What are your COVID-19 Protocols?
In response to the coronavirus outbreak, Arlington Animal Clinic is taking additional precautionary measures to keep our teams safe and healthy so they can continue to provide essential patient care.
WHAT IS A CURBSIDE APPOINTMENT?
In order to keep our clients and team safe, we have transitioned to curbside drop-off for scheduled appointments. We ask that you please wait in your vehicle while your pet is seen. Prior to your appointment, we will email you any necessary forms to be completed online.
CALL US WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO CHECK-IN
A team member will call you to obtain pertinent information about your pet and then come out to escort your pet inside one of our two buildings.
YOUR PET’S DOCTOR WILL EXAM YOUR PET
While you wait from the safety of your car, your pet’s doctor will perform a thorough physical examination on your pet and then call you to discuss his or her findings, as well as make any diagnostic and treatment recommendations. We will then email you a treatment plan that you can approve from your smartphone.
WE’LL CHECK YOU OUT FROM YOUR CAR
Once you have approved your pet’s treatment plan, we will provide your pet with the necessary care, just like we would during any other visit. Once the visit is complete, we will call you to go over the invoice and collect payment. We will also email you an invoice for your visit for your personal records.
WE WILL BRING YOUR PET BACK TO YOU
Once we have finished with your pet’s visit and have checked you out over the phone, we will escort your pet back to your car. We will also hand-deliver any prescription medication to go home at this time. As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding your visit!

What forms of payment do you accept?
Payment is required at the time of service. In order to maximize our patient care and customer service, we do not bill. We accept all major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express), debit cards, cash, and check.
We understand that pet care can be expensive and that unexpected illness or injury can present a significant financial burden for pet owners. We are, therefore, happy to accept CareCredit, a specialized healthcare financing credit card. Clients can apply in the office or online.

Do you accept pet insurance?
Pet health insurance is another way to prepare for the unanticipated costs of emergency veterinary care. Not all pet insurance companies offer the same level of coverage, so we strongly encourage clients to do their due diligence in selecting a pet insurance company. We recommend the following options:
How do I refill my pet’s prescriptions?
Please utilize our chat feature/widget to request a refill of your pet’s prescriptions. Please be sure to order your pet’s medication refill 24 hours in advance. We are also happy to offer home delivery of your pet’s medication. You can order your pet’s medication directly through our online store. Alternatively, we can provide you with a written prescription that can be filled at the pharmacy of your choice.
