Dr. Fossas Espinosa was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and first moved to the mainland U.S. for college. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Later on, he moved to collegiate rivals at The Ohio State University to earn his doctorate in veterinary medicine (DVM). Following graduation, he completed a one year rotating internship at Tufts’ Foster Hospital for Small Animals in North Grafton, where he had the opportunity to practice alongside board-certified specialists in veterinary surgery, internal medicine, emergency and critical care, among others.
Following completion of his internship, Dr. Fossas decided he wanted to remain in the greater Boston area, and so joined Arlington Animal Clinic to continue his professional career while exploring all New England has to offer. In his spare time, you are likely to find Dr. Fossas hiking, rock climbing, and snowboarding whenever he gets the chance. He allows two cats and a small dog to live rent-free in his apartment, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
