Dr. Amanda Oppold grew up riding horses and having her childhood Labrador retriever, Cinnamon, pull her on a sled over frozen ponds in Hastings, Minnesota. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Northwestern University in 2014 and covered equestrian sporting events in Wellington, Florida, after undergrad. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Oppold enjoys renovating old houses with her husband, reading as many books as possible, and taking walks with her Alabama rescue dog, Daisy.
